
Dr. Katharina Gnath

Dr. Katharina Gnath is Senior Project Manager at the Bertelsmann Stiftung. She is an expert on European and international economic governance and is currently in charge of the foundation’s work on the European economy. Prior to joining the Bertelsmann Stiftung she held fellowships at the Stiftung Neue Verantwortung and the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) in Berlin and worked as a trainee at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt. Katharina Gnath obtained a PhD in Transnational Studies/Political Economy from the Free University and the Hertie School in Berlin. She studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford and holds an MSc in European Politics from the London School of Economics.
