Prof. Dr. Henrik Enderlein is the director of the Jacques Delors Institut - Berlin and Vice Dean and Professor of Political Economy at the Hertie School of Governance. He holds degrees in economics and political science from Sciences Po, Paris and Columbia University, New York. He completed his PhD at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne. From 2001 to 2003 he worked as an economist at the European Central Bank Directorate General International and European Relations in Frankfurt, and then took up a Junior Professorship in Economics at the Free University in Berlin. Henrik Enderlein's awards include the Max Planck Society's Otto Hahn Medal for outstanding achievement by young scientists, a Fulbright Distinguished Chair at Duke University's Department of Political Science in 2006-2007, and the Pierre Keller Visiting Professorship at Harvard Kennedy School in the academic year 2012-2013.
