Dominic Ponattu is a Project Manager at the Bertelsmann Stiftung. His work focuses on growth and productivity, the economics of innovation as well as the evolution of inequality. Within the project, Dominic’s main areas of work are the Single Market and social Europe. Prior to joining the Bertelsmann Stiftung, he worked for a leading international strategy consulting firm and as a research associate in political economy and applied econometrics. Dominic holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc., both from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Ph.D. from the University of Mannheim. Throughout his degrees Dominic was a scholarship holder at the German National Academic Foundation, which also awarded him the 2016 prize for civic engagement.
